Roger A. Bloom

Roger A. Bloom is a seasoned professional in fire and rescue services, with over a decade of leadership experience at the Chief Fire Officer level. He has excelled in roles such as Project Manager and Fire Chief at NASA Ames Fire Department and Chief of Operations for the Palo Alto Fire Department, where he managed complex fire and emergency operations.

In addition to his extensive experience in fire and rescue, Roger is also a lead coordinator within Western Confluence’s maritime rescue division. While his maritime rescue experience is more recent, it complements his deep-rooted knowledge in fire and rescue services.

Roger is well-regarded for his exceptional customer service and has developed strong relationships with various organizations and agencies, ensuring effective support for all ongoing operations.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from San Diego State University and is certified as a Fire Officer in California, with numerous advanced rescue and leadership certifications.

Outside of his professional life, Roger enjoys spending time with his family and engaging in activities like water skiing, snow skiing, surfing, and cycling.
